Artist Statement

Needle and Axe is slinging stitches on a treadle sewing machine, a perfect tool for intentional slow sewing. Her commitment to the natural world and low impact living influences her creative process and the growing assortment of pieces she makes. Thoughtfully designed adventure ready bike bags, hip/sling packs, unique totes, and various sized zipper pouches. All sewn in an off-grid studio on a treadle sewing machine.
