Artist Statement

I grew up off a back road, off another back road in Southwestern Montana. Ever since those early years, the places I feel most at peace have always been hidden down dirt tracks. This is where I go to connect with nature and myself, and this is where my designs come from. Sometimes I start with a place, sometimes I start with a stone or old piece of leather, sometimes I hit a dead end and have to find a different way (okay, many times actually!). I often don’t know what will inspire me or how that inspiration will take shape and that’s what keeps it fun and fresh. I’m a little unrefined and so is the jewelry I create. Using natural stones, raw silver materials and salvaged leather, plus hammer, and fire, I make sterling silver adornments for all. Accessibility is a cornerstone of my business - I always stock ALL sizes and offer a range of adaptions so that everyone feels welcome in my booth. I love my work and I love sharing it with people!
