Artist Statement

I love color in my jewelry; so, I hand cut colorful semi-precious stones and create brilliant, cloisonne enamel pictures which I set in sterling silver. Sometimes, I create a picture frame for them with sculpted silver from Silver Clay. Silver clay is silver in a polymer that is moldable, sculptable silver, and after it is kiln-fired, it becomes fine silver (.999) or .960 silver. I also fashion silver, semiprecious and enamel earrings.
