Artist Statement

I work mainly in Oils and I use a unique technique in that I render water, buildings, trees, etc. with an arrow head shaped painting knife. From a distance my painting looks very realistic but up close the viewer can clearly see the dabs of paint and the strokes from the knife, thus it appears impressionistic.
