Artist Statement

Since grade school, I have been intrigued by color and textiles. I love how colors change depending on the colors placed next to each other or woven over it. Over 25 years of hand weaving functional textiles I still wake up every morning excited by the possibilities of the yarns in my studio. I feel that my work looks simple at first glance, but upon closer inspection it is comprised of complex and unexpected color combinations. I take pride in the quality of my work and feel that it merits the discriminating buyer.
