Artist Statement

I don't set out to create art about one subject or another, rather my art comes from deep within. I don't limit myself to realism, expressionism, or abstraction to talk about my subject. I use whatever form of painting I feel will best describe what I want to say about my subject and I switch between them often.
Usually, I paint the same subject until I am done talking about it which means I can end up with literally dozens of paintings before I am done exploring my idea.
My influences come from all around me, everything I see, feel, and experience emotionally.
I love to paint; I need to paint; I will always paint!
