Artist Statement

BEAUTY AMONG THE BUSES

I enjoy discovering beauty in places that are overlooked because of age and dust. There is a bus salvage yard in Williams, CA, that I visited in 2012, 2014 and 2015, and simply explored. I am always looking for natural and manmade designs wherever I go. Here I found a great variety of color, textures and designs. Most of the photographs are tight captures of objects in order to isolate the discovered designs.
