Artist Statement

As a former costume designer I’m very interested in the human being, human interactions, and their meaningful or humorous stories. With that as my perspective, I created a collection of nostalgic collage paintings from found vintage photo albums (no copyright), that make us think of freedom, the simpler days, or perhaps an escape from our current situation. Sometimes I wish to be elsewhere, and nostalgia will get me there.
