Artist Statement

My paintings are stylized realism. They are representational images with a classical foundation infused with contemporary and experimental techniques. I'm always looking for a unique palette or technique that allows the magic to dance between color, light and shadow. I want the mood of the painting to prevail. The goal is to have a viewer feel
the painting and have an emotional response.
