Artist Statement
My name is Yeon Kang. I immigrated to the United States from South Korea 30 years ago. My art is inspired by my passions of what brings meaning to my life. As I grow older, these topics change and I embrace the new challenges that life has for me. I find joy in finding meaning in my art and to be able to express it onto the canvas. I hope to be able to continue this journey and have it reflect in my pieces.
