About Dennis…
For many, retirement marks the beginning of a slower, more relaxed chapter of life. But for OHP Lieutenant Dennis Flowers, it was the spark that ignited a new, vibrant journey. After decades of service in a high-stakes, fast-paced career in law enforcement, Dennis retired in 2010—laying down his badge and picking up a paintbrush. What began as a personal creative outlet quickly transformed into a full-time artistic calling.

A native of southern Oklahoma and a former rancher of 40 years, Dennis draws deep inspiration from the land, wildlife, and western heritage that shaped his life. His acrylic paintings capture striking moments of light, color, and emotion—translating his passion for the natural world into fine art that resonates. From sweeping landscapes and panoramic scenes to horses, cattle, and working cow dogs, Dennis brings each subject to life with authenticity and reverence.

Dedicated to excellence, Dennis has studied under world-renowned artists and continually strives to refine his craft. His work has earned numerous awards and is featured in private collections, offices, and churches across the United States.
