Artist Statement

I do not make art in order to deliver one fixed message, and I do not want every work to arrive with an explanation of what it is supposed to mean.

I prefer to create the work, give it a title, and leave enough space for the person looking at it to experience it in their own way. What I see in a piece may not be what another person sees, and I find that difference important.

For me, creating is not a step toward something else. The process itself, the search, the uncertainty and the moment when a work begins to feel alive are already enough reason to continue making.

"Art is not a path toward a goal; it is the goal itself."
