Artist Statement

My work originates in the perhaps futile—but deeply human—attempt to decipher the constant flow of images that surrounds us. Every day life, mass media, technology, social media, and communication continuously bombard our senses with visual information, shaping our perception of reality in ways that often go unnoticed.

Rather than analyzing this visual landscape, I seek to mythologize it. My interest lies not in decoding hidden messages, but in revealing the latent imagery concealed beneath ordinary appearances. Through processes of selection, accumulation, displacement, and transformation, familiar elements are extracted from their original contexts and projected into new visual relationships, creating alternative spaces for intuition, memory, and interpretation.

Working primarily with digital art and digital painting, I combine photographic fragments, archival references, drawing, graphic elements, and invented imagery to construct layered compositions that exist somewhere between observation and imagination. These works do not aim to destroy or criticize reality, but to intervene in it—to restore a sense of subtle poetry, ambiguity, and playfulness within the overwhelming visual noise of contemporary culture.

Many of my projects develop as thematic series that explore perception, uncertainty, communication, memory, and the fragile boundaries between fact and fiction. The resulting images function as open narratives rather than fixed statements, inviting viewers to navigate multiple layers of meaning and to establish their own connections between disparate visual elements.

In a world saturated with images, I am interested in those moments when perception shifts unexpectedly—when something apparently insignificant acquires a new meaning and alters the way we understand what we see. My work seeks to inhabit that space of transformation, where reality and imagination briefly converge.
