Artist Statement
I am a Ukrainian visual artist and photographer working across painting, photography, and digital art. My practice explores the space between reality and imagination, focusing on memory, light, nature, cities, and fleeting moments.
Through both painting and photography, I am interested in the way familiar places and ordinary details can acquire new emotional meaning. Photography allows me to capture moments as they appear, while painting gives me the freedom to transform them through color, atmosphere, memory, and imagination.
My works often exist between observation and interpretation. I am drawn to quiet, atmospheric moments and to the subtle changes in light, space, and perception that can make an ordinary scene feel dreamlike or unfamiliar.
Whether working with a camera or a brush, I seek to preserve not only what I see, but also what I feel. My practice is a way of exploring how memory and emotion shape our perception of the world and how reality can become a personal visual mythology.
