Artist Statement

My work explores the relationship between inner consciousness, bodily perception, and subconscious experience through intuitive image-making, investigating how perception can be transformed into visual form. I regard the body as a site where perception occurs, as well as a medium that connects inner experience with the external world. Throughout the creative process, the works gradually unfold through emotional flow, bodily sensations, and the spontaneous emergence of lines, symbols, and forms.
Years of artistic practice have gradually led me to develop a creative approach that combines concentration, meditation, and immediate response. The recurring symbols, lines, and imagery within my work are not pre-designed, but instead emerge naturally during the act of creation, gradually forming an evolving personal visual language. For me, these elements are not merely formal compositions, but traces that record states of perception and inner experience, reflecting the fluid and interwoven relationship between consciousness, memory, and the subconscious.
During the creative process, I often enter a focused state through sound and improvised chanting, allowing sound, bodily rhythm, and the act of painting to influence one another. For me, creation is not simply the production of images, but also a method of exploring the relationship between perception, energetic states, and inner experience.
My artistic practice is rooted in intuitive painting, exploring the relationship between perception, inner energy, and the interconnectedness of all existence. Through the creative process, I allow forms, symbols, and visual narratives to emerge naturally, revealing layers of meaning beyond conscious intention.
