Artist Statement

I rekindled my love of art after retirement and am loving it...having discovered that I am not afraid of using color along the way!My love of horses,especially America's wild ones are a favorite subject of mine,and I love using Arizona's landscapes for backdrops in them.Oceans,prairies,deserts are all fun to paint!Acrylics have been my favorite,but a year ago I tried watercolor and find that I love it too.Painting is my happy place!
