Artist Statement
I am a self taught printer and an analog photographer. I grew up in Rochester, New York next door to a police forensic photographer. It was through my friendship with his sons that I learned how to develop 35mm film and process prints. I later incorporated those skills into screen printing and developed my own unique style of print making using my own photographs. I've returned to mainly using the 4 x 5” format in my photography, working with different pinhole camera styles. This process has brought me back to the understanding that analog film is basically magic. My current goal is to get back to screen printing my own analog photographs.
