Artist Statement

My practice exists between structure and chaos, rooted in the visual language of São Paulo’s streets and expanded through my experience
in New York. Emerging from graffiti in the early 2000s, I developed a relationship with letters, surfaces, and the city as a living system—
where everything overlaps, decays, and rebuilds itself continuously.
Working across painting, photography, and mixed media, I construct layered compositions that merge typography, geometry, and industrial
references. My process is based on accumulation, fragmentation, and repetition—where images are cut, reassembled, and disrupted.
I am interested in how visual information behaves when it loses its original function, transforming letters into structures, memories into
textures, and noise into form.
Influenced by pixação and urban environments, my work reflects the tension between control and instinct. Each piece operates as a
system in flux—where order is constantly interrupted and redefined. Through layering and material intervention, I explore how images
are built over time, carrying traces of movement, memory, and lived experience.
Living and working in New York, my practice engages with the density of contemporary life—where multiple realities coexist. My work
does not seek resolution, but rather embraces instability, revealing compositions that are both constructed and collapsing at the same
time.
