Artist Statement

Peaceful is a native Washingtonian and grew up in the surrounding suburbs. Peaceful began painting in the pandemic when she observed the separation and isolation that resulted when people no longer felt it was safe to be around friends or family or continue the patterns that develop human connection. As part of optimal mental and physical wellness people need to know they are loved, part of a community and their life means something. My work is rooted in the spiritual and current events.
