Artist Statement

My practice is rooted in the philosophy of “Slow Art,” utilizing a meticulous watercolor pointillism technique where images are constructed from thousands of individual hand-placed dots. This meditative “dot-by-dot” process serves as a tool for “Anatomy of stillness,” allowing me to deconstruct the natural landscape into its primal elements of light and texture. By intentionally slowing down the creative act, I aim to capture the profound silence and geological memory of the environments I study
