Artist Statement

TK (Takako Sangoh) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice centers on storytelling through color, character, and cross-cultural connection. Working across painting, collage, printmaking, and digital media, she creates imagery that highlights the emotional presence of animals, everyday objects, and small moments that often go unnoticed. Her work is grounded in the belief that art can create warmth, curiosity, and a sense of belonging for viewers of all ages. TK believes art is for everyone and hoping her work will inspire someone to start art in their spare time.
