Artist Statement

I earned a BFA from Carnegie Mellon and worked for a teaching certificate. I made my living as an art teacher and also an architectural illustrator. I lived in Orange County, CA for 20 years. I walked the beach sands everyday. I strive to convey the light, colors and feel of Southern California in my paintings.
