Artist Statement
Expressive mark-making and complete immersion in the physicality of paint evoke an engaged response to what is before me. The visual world is a limitless arrangement of abstract form and composition, whether still life, landscape, or figure. Each painting reveals a search for the essential — a process of head, hand, and heart.
My painting practice is a tremendous source of joy, peace and challenge.
