Artist Statement

I am an American artist born in 1961in Chicago, Illinois. I am primarily self-taught artist who has been painting for over thirty years. I'm an artist who works with a variety of mediums and genres. My works veer toward surrealism and the ornamental in art. I have also created mixed media paintings with a strong texture and taxidermy animals. I've entered in numerous art competitions through the years, winning awards in a variety of categories. My work can also be found in various prominent art books and journals.
