Artist Statement

My name is Maria da Silva, I'm from Brazil and I study in Danbury High School. I always have been so creative and was interested in art, but my process started when I was in school. When I was in 3rd grade, I saw a girl selling her drawings, with curiosity I saw the drawing. When I arrived home I was searching for videos of how to draw. Everyday I was searching a little more, and with time I started to draw by myself without tutorials. Drawing made me create new hobbies, like photographing, painting, because it creates a certain understandment about the topic.
