Artist Statement

I've been an artist for almost 50 years. I've always been an outsider my work never fits in a comfortable box. This latest series "Western Weiner" is a prime example of this. I comment on just about anything that interests me or entertains me. I use unconventional materials, housepaint, acrylic markers, collage, etc. A conservator friend told me once my work would be a night mare to work on. I use whatever gets the job done.
