Iona Fournier-Tombs
Artist Statement
In my work I explore natural cycles, patterns in nature, growth and transformation, and the symbolism of nature, color and geometry. Through natural pigments, experimentation and using heritage methods, I am committed to the craft of my work by consistently deepening my knowledge and research of nature, pigment, and technique. I consider my art to be a part of my personal journey towards reflection and self-knowledge.
