Cyan Larson

Artist Statement

Cyan Larson is an interdisciplinary artist working in Brooklyn, New York, whose work reflects and responds to their lived experiences. They contend with themes of societal and emotional pressure through means of experimenting with sympathetic material, paint, and performance.
Cyan was awarded a residency at the Vermont Studio Center in 2023. Cyan received a BFA at the University of Utah in 2021, where they were awarded the Howard Clark Scholarship. Cyan's work has been featured in various spaces in Utah and Brooklyn, New York.
