Artist Statement

My practice explores the space between the tangible and the ineffable — where matter, memory, and metaphysical inquiry intersect. I work across painting, sculpture, mixed media, video, and assemblage, transforming traditional materials through experimental and unexpected combinations. Each piece evolves through a dialogue between control and chance, allowing the process itself to shape the final form.
Although I engage with diverse media, painting remains the heart of my practice — a place of return and reflection. Its physicality and depth of gesture connect my work to a lineage of making that is both intimate and timeless.
I am drawn to themes that examine the emotional and existential dimensions of being: how memory alters perception, how time reshapes experience, and how human awareness relates to the unknown. My influence is Italian early Renaissance, Japanese watercolors, and contemporary minimalism.
