John Loomis

Artist Statement

Working with various art media, I have been working with clay, ceramic sculpture for many years.
Using a nature theme mostly related to my surroundings, I sculpt birds, fish, and SeaLife suggestion.
I do live in the redwoods and also take interest in the variety of natural forms found in the forest.
I will vary from traditional pottery to fanciful sculpture related to my surroundings and my life.
