Artist Statement

My work is inspired by the quiet beauty of textiles, color, and handcraft traditions passed down through generations. I am drawn to the warmth and individuality that handmade objects bring into daily life, pieces that are meant to be worn, used, and lived with rather than simply displayed.
Through sewing, embroidery, crochet, and patchwork, I explore how texture and pattern can elevate simple forms into meaningful objects. I am especially inspired by seasonal themes, cultural motifs, and the relationship between function and decoration. Patchwork allows me to tell small visual stories through fabric, while embroidery and crochet add rhythm and intimacy to each piece.
My mission is to create thoughtfully made fiber art that feels personal, timeless, and approachable. I want my work to connect people to the beauty of handcrafted detail and to remind them of the value of patience, care, and human touch in an increasingly mass‑produced world.
