Artist Statement

My work moves between realism and abstract expressionism as a way of exploring emotional truth and identity. Through realism, I focus on the human figure and cultural symbolism, capturing moments of vulnerability, strength, and lived experience. These pieces are intentional and reflective, grounded in observation and personal narrative.

My abstract expressionist work is more intuitive and emotionally driven. I use color, movement, and layered textures to express what cannot always be contained by form. This process allows emotion, memory, and transformation to surface naturally, without control or expectation.

Together, these two approaches represent different parts of the same voice. They are not separate practices, but a dialogue between structure and freedom, intention and instinct. My work invites viewers to connect emotionally and reflect on their own inner experiences.
