Artist Statement

My pottery reflects the values I learned growing up in an environment where nothing was rushed and learning came through observation, curiosity, and working with the hands. I create pieces that invite connection, whether it is a morning coffee mug that becomes part of a daily ritual or a serving dish that brings people together at the table.
Rooted in slowing down and being present, my work is inspired by the natural world around me and the quiet moments it offers. I am drawn to organic forms, subtle textures, and the beauty found in everyday use. Each piece is one of a kind, often hand-carved, and made to be both useful and meaningful. Through my work, I hope to support moments of connection, presence, and shared experience.
