Artist Statement

My work examines moments of rupture, intimacy, and endurance within urban environments. I am drawn to spaces where light reveals what is often overlooked—fractured surfaces, guarded interiors, and brief human exchanges that carry emotional weight. Through abstraction and street photography, I explore how color, texture, and illumination transform ordinary scenes into sites of reflection.
These images consider resilience not as spectacle, but as presence: broken glass that becomes luminous, neon-lit spaces that offer both comfort and solitude, and late-night rituals that sustain life in the city. Together, the work speaks to survival shaped by quiet persistence, where beauty emerges through imperfection and the everyday becomes a testament to human dignity.
