Artist Statement

Music is one of the most immediate ways the body remembers freedom. It enters without permission, moves through muscle and breath, and connects strangers through rhythm before language has time to intervene.

My work explores how sound activates the body and transforms space — from solitary gestures on the street to shared moments of collective release. I am drawn to music not as performance alone, but as a physical experience that dissolves distance between people and invites vulnerability, joy, and presence.

Through these images, I seek to capture music as a living force: one that liberates the body, opens intimacy, and creates temporary communities bound by a shared pulse. Each photograph is an attempt to witness how rhythm becomes a form of becoming — a quiet or explosive dance toward freedom.
