My work explores the deep traditions of New Jersey basket making through both historical research and hands-on creation. I draw inspiration from the craftsmanship and baskets historically made in New Jersey. By studying regional styles and techniques, I seek to honor and preserve these local traditions while adapting them for contemporary function and use.
Each piece I create serves as both a link to the past and a practical object for everyday life. My goal is to connect history, place, and purpose — ensuring that the art of basket weaving remains a living, evolving craft.
