As an emerging artist who has recently planted roots in the Hampton Roads area, I’m excited for the opportunity to participate in the Offsite Gallery Exhibit and connect more deeply with the local creative community. Since arriving in the region a year ago, I’ve been drawn to Norfolk’s vibrant, evolving art scene and feel a growing desire to contribute to its voice.

My work is rooted in a desire to inspire and motivate: to awaken imagination, curiosity, and deeper reflection in those who encounter it. Each piece I create is a visual invitation to slow down, engage, and consider new perspectives. Whether through bold color choices, layered textures, or abstract forms, I hope to spark moments of internal dialogue and connection.

I also strive to reflect innovation and creative risk-taking, both in subject matter and medium. I’m exploring beyond traditional canvas prints into alternative forms like wood, acrylic, and mixed media to push the boundaries of presentation and interaction.

As a disabled individual, unable to work, being part of this exhibit would not only mark a milestone in my local journey but serve as a bridge to ongoing collaboration, growth, and deeper creative contribution within the Norfolk arts community.
