Artist Statement

As an artist, I am captivated by the potent essence of nostalgia, particularly the vivid memories of growing up in the early 2000s. A time when the world felt simpler, marked by innocence, wonder, and an unshaken sense of belonging. For me, this era is a treasure trove of inspiration, where the sights, sounds, and experiences of childhood continue to echo through my creative work. Beneath those memories runs a deeper thread of faith. Jesus was not always loudly spoken of in those moments, but His presence was steady. Shaping my values, sense of love, and art I create. In each memory, I now recognize the quiet grace that was God’s nearness.
