Artist Statement

My art comes from a need to make inspirational reality more complete for myself. I’ve traveled and planned trips to see places known for their beautiful scenery. And while many of those places were undoubtedly stunning, they often felt universally captured — the same image seen and photographed by everyone. That sameness lessened the experience for me.

My art fills in what feels missing. Anything, at any moment, can become a source of inspiration. I now see the inspiration through a lens of infinite possibilities, and that mindset transforms even the most ordinary scenes into something beautiful. There is something deeply calming to me about everyday moments and familiar, simple places — and that’s where my creativity feels most alive.
