Artist Statement

Beverly Haber

Travel opened my eyes to the beauty and wonder of the world. It began with a trip to Egypt, which inspired my husband and I to explore the globe and record the visual wonders found with a camera. After a long career as a Business Analyst for Prudential, I retired and turned to painting. My camera now is always pointed at a potential painting.

New Jersey, with its friendly and welcoming group of artists, became my art home. My work can be found in several annual shows along the Jersey Shore each year and has been recognized with awards from the Monmouth County Senior Art Show, Art Society of Monmouth County and Pine Shores Art Assoc.

The love and expression of art also spreads through my family, with one of my two daughters becoming a professional graphic artist.
