Artist Statement

I use Sennilier oil paints which were created for Picasso to use on any surface. I create paintings that are vibrant and emotive. I am fascinated by human, animal and environmental muses. I blend the bright colors of the oil pastels with my fingers which gives the process a visceral feel. My intention is to create paintings that appeal to a wide array of audiences as they experience colors and forms in an emotive way.
