Artist Statement
My artworks are often an attempt at isolating a moment in time. After many years as a photographer, I appreciate the subjectivity of documenting these moments with a medium requiring more of my own input. I'm often inspired by life: pets, flora, and fauna have historically been some of my preferred subjects, although I’ve recently come to enjoy cityscapes and nocturnes.
