Artist Statement

Rosalie's work features a wide range of styles from Intuitive Abstract Acrylic to Watercolor/Gouache in Plein Air. Even as a Fine Arts Major, she embraces the liberation of formal constraints, using tools to layer and scrap and reveal spontaneous colors and forms. Her love of the outdoors and connection to her community contribute to her deep passion for painting in open air. She believes in allowing art to flow freely to transcend traditional boundaries and allow views of her work to experience the raw essence of creativity.
