Artist Statement

Chad Crume is an artist living and working in the lower Hudson Valley. He paints vibrant painterly scenes, often landscapes, that employ graphic frameworks of color and composition. Often non-narrative scenes, they invite an unhurried viewing of space, place, light, and their visual representation.
