Artist Statement

My paintings are created with the intention to
view the ordinary as the Extraordinary.
Images affect our brain and chemistry;
stimulating, thinking, feeling, and awareness.
The Natural world and the science of quantum physics melds this
reality into an experience of wonder and the responsibility we
share that comes that recognition that we are a part of
everything in the Cosmos.

My Dad was an immigrant from Italy, who found work as a gardener on several large estates in Westchester County. My childhood was influenced by his work with the flower and vegetable gardens and exposure to the order of nature and the seasons. His salary was small yet our true wealth was our experience of having nature at our doorstep. A privilege that shaped my life in wondrous ways.
