Artist Statement

To create these works, I have spent thousands of hours manipulating in Photoshop, photos I have taken of mostly boring and mundane subjects.I print the outcome on archival tissue paper and glue the fragmented prints to canvas or hardboard. I then paint sections with acrylics, leaving a small amount of the black of the original prints.
