Artist Statement

I am a self-taught artist who picked up the paintbrush only 3 years ago. I am an whose work is deeply rooted in the beauty and wonder of the natural world. My journey as a painter began with an unexpected push, a simple sip and paint party that never happened. Instead, that moment of free time and a collection of art supplies opened a window to a passion I didn’t know I had. I now paint with both oils and watercolors, using these mediums to capture the essence of landscapes and references from my varied interests.

I believe art has the power to bring connection, joy and beauty into everyday life. Through my pieces, I aim to create a sense of peace and a moment of pause for the observer. This passion has grown from a solo endeavor into a fulfilling practice, and I am grateful for the chance to share these painted worlds with you.
