Artist Statement

Art should have an emotional impact and conjure feelings, whether abundant joy, deep grief or creepy fear. Art should be evocative, stimulating an appreciation for the beauty and bounty of our world, or insitung anger at injustice. The artist communicates but the observer interprets through their own lens, applying subjective, judgmental, critical thought or their own compassionate or cold heart. Good or evil, light or dark, or neutral grey. What is the artist saying? What are you feeling or thinking?
