Artist Statement

This piece is one of the first fashion designs I have made. It took a lot of time, dedication, and discipline. As a beginner in fashion design, I worked with one of the most unforgiving fabrics, however I learned a lot, which helped improve my skills for future projects. This piece has taught me how to sew darts, invisible zippers, boning, stitching, and hemming.
