Michael Grahek

Artist Statement

Mike Grahek is a signature member of the Central Coast Water Color Society. He paints in a style similar to the California School, having developed his own style often using ink and watercolors together. He has studied under Milford Zornes. He continues to refine his watercolor style by trying out new ways to communicate his impressions of the world to the viewer. He has been a guest artist demonstrating his painting style and ideas to the CCWS. He has shown his work in the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art for over 20 years, and his work is in several private collections.
